NAV/phone question

Not sure if this is speciific to iPhone or not but...

When I make a call through the NAV unit, when the call is finished and I want to hang up, I cannot do it with the steering wheel buttons. If I hit the off hook button, it gives me a call or redial option only. I have to reach over and push the end button on the display (which should be a lot bigger and away from the call button IMO). And then the display just sits on the phone screen until I hit the home button.

Does it work like that for you guys with different phones?

That's the same way it works with my BlackBerry. I thought it was a BB thing....would be nice if they could fix it with a future firmware update.

You need to push and HOLD the button on the steering wheel, then it will hang up.

Really? I could've sworn i tried that and it just re-dialed. Sweet! I'll try it on the way home from work. Thanks Darren!

For a count of at least 3...PITA but my works fine.

Call ringing...press the steering wheel phone button for a second
Hangup...press the steering wheel button for 3-4 secs

It is a PITA but after re-dialing 1,000 people I finally got used to it. Would be nice if just a push would hang up tho, not sure what the thinking was that went into that one

Interesting...I will try that although I am not sure how that will work with my Lockpick which also uses press and hold on the phone button to activate.
