Speedo & Trans HELP!!

Hey everyone.
Move been lookin through the forums and I’m pretty sure I have a handle on my problem, but I want to make sure I don’t miss anything.

I have a ‘92 F150 5.8 that I purchased as a “mechanics special” type of deal.

What was originally just a blown trans pump seal has become more.

My symptoms are:
higher than normal idle in Park/N. (1400rpm)
delayed shift points
hard, violent shifts
trans not shifting back to 1st when I come to a stop
stalling when shifting from Park to reverse or drive when warm. (Every time unless I give it gas, read-neutral drop)
fault codes:
172 - O2 lean (I have an exhaust leak)
452 - speed sensor.
My speedo and odo do not work
I have checked resistanse of my vss at 1.92.
I have 11.88 volts going to the terminal on my PSOM but can’t get a reading on the solder on the back side of the board when plugged in.

I ordered an eBay PSOM that will arrive on Saturday. I’m hoping this will cure my trans issue as I know a lot of times the PSOM is a culperate.

Does anyone have any other ideas what I can check in the mean time to make sure I’m not wasting time on this issue?

the only thing that doesn’t fit in is the 1400rpm idle. I’m not getting an IAC code and I blew it out with manifold cleaner to no avail.

Thanks for any and all help! I know this forum is a goldmine for knowledge

You might check fuses 8 & 18 in the dash fuse panel.

thanks!
all the fuses check out and I’m getting good voltage across the contacts.
I figured as much as I was able to get voltage at the plug to the PSOM at both the constant and ignition-run pins.
I’m just worried that I will be waiting for the new PSOM to show up and I could be spending my time with further diagnosis.

The sooner I can get the truck up and going, the sooner I can sell my diesel and get out of a monthly payment.

I wanted to give an update. I got my replacement PSOM in today and it fix my transmission issues. Transmission shifts at the right points and returns to first gear when I come to a stop.
