Remote start

Tried searching but became more confused. Can remote start be enabled with the standard keys and if so how. I know with my wife’s highlander they have it set to hitting the lock 3x.

Yes, you need to install the ford alarm module and enable the features in forscan or have the dealer do it

Search down a few pages ant a thread title something like 2018 XL remote start. I added the factory Ford Alarm + Remote start to my 2018 F250. I use the remote that came with my truck
to start -Lock-Unlock-Lock with start the truck. Do it again and it will stop the engine. I had Ford program/Install the module. The thread has a lot of information plus I posted my total cost.
