I don't think I would try an oil flush, but the popular stiction reducing additives are no problem to use. Sometimes they work, so it might be worth a try.
Sounds good, I got hot shot in now doesn't seem to be working yet, but I will give it the rest of the 5000 miles I put it on like 100-200 miles after I changed the oil before I put it in. I don't drive it much either put on 5k in 12-18 months. I put in shell 15-40 rotella t4 or 5 whichever is non synthetic. but hear alot of guys saying 5-40 is the way to go. could that have started this problem. Cause it started about same time. I'm going to hold off on the spool valves until I can afford to replace the injectors that way if I screw them up I won't be sold. Thanks as always for all the help
That 15w40 will definitely make the issue more noticeable especially when cold. With the HSS additive you need to take a good road trip to get it hot and mix. You need to find time to drive the truck and put it through the paces. These trucks don’t like to sit.
