Transmission drain plug
Has anybody installed either a drain plug or the Dorman transmission pan with a drain plug? I'm going to start yearly ATF drain and fills and looking at the convenience of the drain plug but I don't want to spend $300 on a fancy pan for just that feature...

I looked at that product but it seemed a bit flimsy to me (only pictures which could lie). I was just out in the barn checking my level and that's a PITA....if you do go that route, invest in a real dipstick.
