Anyone? Is there anyway to bypass the pcm and send a signal to the transmission manually? Maybe run a momentary switch inbetween the hot on the fuse box and the to the transmission where the pcm sends the signal?
I’m starting to believe it might be the PCM but again it’s almost impossible to find any good data on what voltages I should be seeing and all that.
I have no codes and nothing else seems to be affected.
What signal are you trying to send to the transmission? It doesn't get a signal that OD is turned off. The PCM just turns the two shift solenoids on and off, which creates four gear ratios. SS1 on/SS2 off is first gear, both on is second gear, SS1 off/SS2 on is third gear, and both off is fourth gear. When you press the OD OFF button the PCM doesn't allow a shift to fourth gear by not turning off both solenoids.
