Is it possible to change out the headlight bulbs for LED bulbs with out any electrical modifications? I see there are a ton on Ebay that say they will fit the 2013 F-250 Super Duty. I hate the yellowish look of the bulbs in it.
I ordered a set off of Amazon from a company called Opt 7. They plugged right in to the harness in the truck. They have been in my 2015 for 2 years now and have performed flawlessly.
They will take a little getting use to though.......... With the factory light housings, you get more of a floodlight effect instead of 2 focused beams. I actually prefer their light pattern, as they light up more of the road, and better peripheral light.

Yes you can change to an led headlight bulb lots of us here are running them with great results but you need a bulb with the led “chips” in the same pace that your halogen filaments would be or else you won’t have a decent cut off functional high beam and will blind traffic. Here’s a post of mine form another thread with links to the bulbs that were having good luck with and a few threads on them.

You should also make sure the lights are adjusted properly according to the ford specs before and especially after the bulb upgrade.
I would recommend these 2 options they are the same light but branded differently they both have a warranty, I and guys here have had good success so far with them. I have the auxbeam branded ones here https://www.amazon.com/Auxbeam-Headl.../dp/B074GWW7BY
And the other guys have the beamtech versions in their trucks https://www.amazon.com/BEAMTECH-Head.../dp/B06XHCQ8KY
They have a good cutoff like the halogen bulbs as well as a functional high beam unlike a lot of options. There is no ballast they just plug right in. For the price these lights can’t be beat by anything else on the market today that I have been able to find.
Here is the thread in the 2017 forum discussing these lights if you want to read through it. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...eadlights.html
I swapped out the the Auxbeam bulbs at Mike's recommendation. We run them in our F350 and our Expedition. They are fantastic bulbs at a great price. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
I was able to orient the chips easily by plugging the LED bulbs in and having my son turn the high beams on and off. I looked through a welding helmet and I could easily see which chip was high and low beam.
Some require a little "box". I run LedHeadlights 45W 6,000K LEDs in my 2013. They came with a little box that I adhered to the back of the headlight assembly. Needed to take the headlight assembly out to put xPEL on them. Figured while I had them out I would convert to Leds. I also slapped a set of Boltlink LED Ultra Bright Cree H10 80W 6.000Ks in my fog lights. They were just the bulbs and fit right in.
I bought a set of Hikari LED headlight replacements. I have nothing but positive vibes from them. They work in both low and high beam. Nice light output. Easy to adjust. I ordered the Canbus cancellation kits just to be on the safe side with the computer.

I noticed that your truck is an 04 will the ones that you linked work in the 11-14?
Nice, I think I will try a set of these out. I don't like the ones that require the extra box to be mounted somewhere under the hood.
Yea me neither no driver box on these just plug right in, just be sure they are oriented the right way and you won’t be disappointed. Let us know what you think after you get them.
I’ve got some in my truck and love them. Only thing about them (not sure if it’s just my truck) whenever they are on I occasionally don’t very good radio reception although it’s not a problem for me as I usually use Spotify or pandora.

that problem seems hit or miss some guys have it some don’t. I took my antenna off since I don’t listen to the radio so I don’t know if I have it or not. Btw I tried to listen to Pandora the other day for the first time in a while and holy commercials they went overboard with that.
