Throw the bedliner away and get a bed rug bottom and separate tail gate pad...Great on the knees. I mad a plywood copy of the front of my bed, put 1/2" foam on it, covered with black material stapled on. Protects the front. Good luck
You could buy a Sportside or Flareside mat and simply trim it to length. Mats designed to fit a certain truck bed are designed to fit that bed without a liner. Used with a liner they won't fit exactly correctly anywhere. When I sold truck accessories and someone wanted a mat in their liner we sold them one of the mats I mentioned. The stall mat seems like a good way to go as long as it's reasonably heavy. Flying rubber mats can **** people off.
I'm 38 and fairly strong, A 3/4" thick stall mat that is 4'x6' is about all I want to put in the back of my truck myself, they are heavy enough I think it even takes a bit of shock out of the back of the truck on the road.
I had one in my truck but took it out because I needed it in my horse trailer, one of these days I will get another one to go in the truck over the bedliner.
Many years of owning trucks and after having the spray in bedliner i purchased a kraco matt for my 1985 f150. the spray in was rough and the kraco was placed over it .30 years later the matt showed no shrinkage and still doing the job. For my 2018 i purchased the Dual liner that has the matt for floor coverage. Perhaps you can contact Dualliner and see if you can purchase just the matt. Good luck TR
Along with adding a little weight to the rear end ,
When you throw/put things like tools , rocks whatever there's no banging around,
Can't say that about any drop or painted on liner.
When you put something in the bed it stays put with a mat.
I can assure you one of the Tractor Supply mats will not blow out. They are heavy. I don't have one in my truck now but I've had many of them in my barn.
