Auxilliary Idle Control??

Auxilliary Idle Control??
This one says its for the E series VANS. I'm thinking it will fit and plug into MY LATE '99 7.3 F-350 and the bracket most likely won't fit.
I'm ok with that as I will probably install it with HD Velcro anyway....

without looking, does all our trucks come equiped with this plug? Whats the significance of this AIC?

I think so. Mine has it. It was a convenient place to tap into for gauges. 
(From the owner's manual) it can:
- Maintain battery charge
- Elevate engine speed for increased power output at idle
- Power up an auxiliary PTO with optional upper and lower speed limits
- Control engine speed from a remote location on the vehicle
- elevate idle speed or maintain charge automatically, without additional driver input
