What did you do to your Superduty today? 2019 version
#1621
Install engine/tranny & cats guard skid plate.
Very solid, well built, thick and light weight aluminum. Protects engine oil pan, transmission, and both catalytic converters. Mounts to existing frame crossbar holes in front of engine oil pan and at rear of transmission. Vertical side extensions makes cat theft very unlikely. Anthony at BellFab was great to work with.

Replaced the chrome running boards that have about 4 spots peeling and chipping off. Went with new take-off black OEM plastic boards, the same I had on my 2017 F150. Then detailed the interior and exterior. Used Turtle Wax Ceramic 3 in 1 detailer on the paint. Beautiful Kansas day with no wind and 50 degrees!

Added a Diamondback HD.
Was originally looking for something lower profile (and less expensive), but a friend picked up the 270 model for his Denali HD and was raving about the build quality. They had this one in their outlet for a ~$300 discount for light scratches to the inside of the cover so I had to jump on it.
To my door in 5 days. The build quality is outstanding.

Need to take a few photos, but so far on 2019 Platinum TriCoat:
6" ProComp Lift
37"x13.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
PTM Bushwacker Fender Flares
PTM Mirror Caps
Bedliner
Weathertech floor mats
Front Clear Bra
Black Gloss Superduty Letters on hood and tailgate
Airlift 5000 airbags (wireless compressor install to upfitter switches)
pick up the sled deck this weekend.
I'd like to do a chrome delete on the tailgate, but i've gone through a couple vinyl wraps and haven't been impressed. Not a big fan of plastidip either. Some real high quality versions on ebay, but not ready to spend that kind of money just for black.
Currently all for show as it sits in the garage with barely any use for the last two months. I guess 90% of it is for show anyway...

I know this is an old thread but for those of us who didn’t go order a brand new 80k truck I have a 19 6.2 FX4 bought in July.
it has the spray in liner but it’s soo rough. I have a tool bag that I carry in the back that I need to slide to the gate for tools and push back. It’s so rough it’s hard to pull and going to wear the bottom out of the bag.
debating some sort of husky liner on top of the spray or a Bedrug or something else. Maybe just a tractor supply mat.
any input? I’m looking to sort of lower the friction between the bag and bed. I do occasionally carry ATVs in the bed and use a trifold tonneau. So a few drips of water gets in if that’s a factor.
also regarding the cover. It’s freakin heavy and I hate how it blocks the whole back glass when carrying an ATV.
thinking of changing it out. Recommendations? I like the look (from photos) of the truxedo x15 pro. Tough at $550 for something I already have that costs more to just get rid of it for near nothing. But the roll up is sure easier to use.
I do like that the trifold can be in place while the tailgate opens and closes. I’m readying that the roll up type has to be rolled back and close the gate and then reconnect? Seems odd because that was not the case on my old F150 I sold. Top could always be down. In fact it had to be clicked it before the gate was closed.
