What did you do to your Superduty today? 2019 version

Well since there is a 2017 thread, and a 2018 thread, why not a 2019 thread. Yes I know some people are going to lose their minds about having different threads for different model years all with related upgrades as the trucks are the same... but oh well

First up light up sill plates, yes the 2019's still have the harness on the platinum's:

Laser guidance parking system in the garage since I have a total of 3" lengthwise to fit the truck. (same idea as a tennis ball, just less tacky and more accurate)

Matte Black FX4 Decals (ebay):

Short Front Goatee:

Also did some center console organizers but didn't grab a pic.

Friday I will install the Carli 2.5 Backcountry, wheels/tires, and steering stabilizer.
27th Line-X spray in bedliner scheduled
Pace Edwards Ultragroove install awaiting bedliner
30th full ceramic tint scheduled (50% rear windows, 20% fronts, 50% windshield)

Pics to follow

Well I must be the only one modifying their 2019...

Carli Backcountry 2.5 full rear deavers
Fuel Warrior 20x9 +20, Toyo Open Country RT's 37x12.5
Also did some Forscan mods, getting rid of the double honk is a godsend!

Excellent - as soon as I get mine it's getting a Revolver X4 bed cover, Tough skinz and a shorter valence for starters.

I'm being a little lazy here (so okay to tell me that) but the other 2017/2018 threads are huge so pointers for any posts in the 2019 thread appreciated. Affiliate links to Amazon, etc are fine with me as long as you state it's an affiliate link (not sure on forum policy there).

Link to product/thread? It's a nice touch but not sure it's worth the expense. I'm guessing it's a simple pop out/pop in replacement?

Need to pick up same, links? Maybe I'll add a wireless charger. I have generally kept my phone visible for Waze but maybe now I'll use the Sync3 for that.

+1 on Line-X. Why the Ultragroove over other options? I plan on using the hitch for most accessories so maybe that's the difference.

I will have FL plates and intend maxing out to FL tint levels (28/28/15) even though I'll be out of state a lot. Are the factory tint levels known? Any specific products to look for with ceramic tint?

I didn't think any state allowed tint on the windshield below the AS-1 line (very top, 5-6")? Did you 50% tint the whole windshield?

Sill Plates Info $77 each:

Yes the red FX4 came off very easy, just stared one corner and peeled them right off.

I used both of these organizers. Work great with eachother, actually put a laptop between them:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KI7GFF8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KI7GFF8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I selected the ultragroove because I wanted a metal top as my older "material" top faded bad. I didn't want an unlock device on the outside, I have keyless entry and don't want to ever deal with keys again, I liked that the ultragroove had the unlock on the inside, so if the tailgate is locked so is the entire bed. Also like the ability to use the crossbars on the ultragroove for when we camp and have a bed full of gear.

I live in Illinois which is controlled by Chicago and doesn't allow anything on the front passenger or drivers side, and only the bar across the front. All my vehicles I tint 20% all the way around, and 50% windshield and have never had an issue with the law in over 18 years. Yes I will fully tint the windshield, I want the heat rejection properties of the ceramic. The back stock is 20%, but I will put 50% on top not for the tint, but for the heat rejection of the ceramic.

Don't worry I am not using any affiliate links.

can't we keep just one thread for all mods for the 2017 and up SD's?

Since the '17-'19 are identical its a pain to check out mods in 3 threads vs just one.

I still just use the 2017 thread for my 2018.

Yup, agreed. I would suggest that the mods think about this and possibly lock this thread before it gets too lengthy. Keep it to one thread per bodystyle!!

Better have the mods lock the 2018 then also. Funny how my first post could read the future of posters and their feelings.

Big threads get a little unwieldy in some browsers. I’d declare all of these threads to be about the same body style because they’re in this forum... and treat them as “what did you do to your Superduty today, calendar year 2019”... in which case this thread is a few months early, but hey.... the bigger thing would be to lock the older ones to steer towards the current thread...
