Spent the past few days polishing, correcting as many scratches as I could, putting PPF on the nose, and ceramic coating it. So far the cab is fully done except the bumper. That has to be removed, cleaned up the chips, probably a full sanding and repaint, then PPF and reinstalled, but that is at a later time. The bed is next but I am worn out. two days of polishing and my arms are dead. The DA polisher works great but hours of use has my shoulders aching.
I need to let the PPF bake in the sun a week or so to get all the marks out of it and level out. Then I can get before and after pictures of it. The best part of this, I can get at LEAST 4 years of paint protection out of this stuff. I put CQ.UK 3.0 on my 2018 when it was two weeks old and didn't need to do anything but wash it and an occasional wipe of Reload for full beading and the paint looked as good the day I traded it as it did the day I first put the PPF and ceramic on it. Day after I brought it home.
New shoes today - just in time for another round of winter weather. The old Goodyear's were getting pretty thin. Went with Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus which are 3PMSF-rated.
Enabled the Regen checkbox. Now I will regen it when soot reached 100% AND I have at least 30 miles of driving left instead of 5 miles like it has been doing the past few regens.
Replaced the OEM FLA battery with a NAPA AGM. The OEM battery has been showing signs of weakness - twice in the last couple of weeks it's given me a battery low warning after sitting for a few days in the colder weather we've been having. It was pushing 4 1/2+ years based on manufacture date which may not be that bad given some of the battery threads I've seen......
Did my own oil change and tire rotation. While I was under the truck, I took a good look at my factory exhaust. There's just too much unnecessary crap on today's exhaust systems. I might start cutting out some resonators and maybe a muffler. Let her breathe a little better and let the neighbors hear me.
This took a couple days, cause I needed info and I ran out of wire. Installed amber lights on my running board brackets. They work with my parking/running lights.
@SlikWillie
What circuit did you tap for the side emblem and running board lights? Where is it located? Thanks!

I tapped into the rear license plate light for the running board lights and the front marker light for the emblem lights. Be careful though. Those wires are very thin.
