Weird, I have not seen a three sided Beamtech H13 bulb. That is not what the rest of us are using. Look on Amazon and see how the two sided bulbs look. The beam pattern is great with those.
Mine also have silver cooling fins and an on board fan. The others I have seen have black cooling fins with two sided led and no fans. I wonder if the have a new updated design ?
I'm not understanding this statement. I thought that these bulbs were H13 that contained both high & low beam so they're the same for top and bottom lenses. As far as orientation within the lens anything that I've seen simply states to position the chips directly right and left or at 3 & 9 o'clock positions. The pattern wouldn't be right if the chips were at the 6 and 12 o'clock or top & bottom positions.
I see where your confused let me try to clarify the leds need to face 3 and 9 o clock like you said. Then when you look at the bulb it has the 2 rows of led chips on either side the row indexed futherback is the the high beam and should be on the bottom and the top is the low beam
