Watching the weather kind of closely right now. This coming weekend is my 4x4 club's annual camping trip to the Mohawk Mountains and southern Vermont. 4 days of sleeping in tents and beating our rigs on the rocks. It will be a another good test for the F150 towing. Towed the Jeep to Hancock, NY in June and it did good, but I'm evaluating if I want to add a Hellwig rear sway bar. The trip this weekend has a few twisty roads with 7-8% grades both up and down.

Alright, finally got the front kit a little over a week ago now. Decided to tackle the install after work this evening. All in all it took me about 5 hours to do the fronts and install the rear blocks. Had some hangups with the harbor freight coil spring compressors, but I managed to make it work. Hopefully all went well and I won't have any unforeseen issues. No pictures of the finished product as it was dark out when I finished around 9.

The lip on the spring compressor was too deep and wouldn't allow the teeth to come out of the eibach coil spring. I had to loosen the top nut just enough to get them out. Stupid.

I'll probably be doing that mod sometime this Fall. I don't plan to put bigger tires or anything, but I want a little stiffer front end to curb back the dive on hard braking and remove the squishiness when trailering.
