I was at the Washington county fair three weekends ago in RI, the Brooklyn fair here in CT two weekends ago, and the Haddam Neck fair this past weekend.
I went to the Brooklyn Fair a couple weeks ago and the Woodstock fair this past weekend. I liked the Brooklyn Fair better, but it's because they had lots of tractor pulls and higher action stuff than the arts and crafts of Woodstock. I went to the Washington county fair last year, but didn't get a chance this time around. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather of Fall hopefully coming soon, but not the leaf pick up that comes with it.
I try to hit up as many fairs as I can for the tractor and truck pulls, and some tractor shows here and there when I can. The fairs are starting to get pretty expensive. I'll be in PA in two weekends for a decent size tractor show in my grandparents area. There's a show this weekend in NH, but I probably won't make that, and then a big show in Vermont in three weekends. I used to enjoy going to fairs for the tractor shows as well, but they have started to phase them out and now only have a few tractors around. Now I just go for the pulls and some food. My daughter enjoys the rides even though she's too small still for most of them.
Well, I had a guy coming to look at the 97 tomorrow. So to be nice, I jumped in it to go fill it up with gas for him and the brake pedal hit the floor. Found a nice leak, fixed it, found another leak. I'm out of supplies to fix second leak. I have the flare kit thanks to Aaron, and the line, but no fittings. Damn.

Well that sucks. That's one of my least fond memories from my '79, replacing brake lines on a regular basis. They would either rot out or bounce around and break.
