Adjusting coil spring

How can i adjust this coil spring to make it fit? To me it looks like too much spring but O Reilly says its the right one for my 96 f 150 also had to replace the shock bracket and i dont think it comes out far enough from the frame. Any help ?

Thank you in advance.

I think you may have the spring installed upside down. Can you post some more pictures of the whole setup?

The paper work that came with springs said install tighter coil springs to the top.

Spring looks correct as far as install. First pic looked like it was upside down.

What part number are the springs?

Sorry dont have the part numbers threw away box he said they would raise my front end about an inch or so. The rear of my truck has a extra leaf spring so it sits a little higher than the front. I just dont think these springs work for quad shocks

Not the right springs, they look to be visibly longer than the originals.

I just checked their site. On my showed 4 that are for that truck. Only 1 set stated not for use with dual shocks. Perhaps that is what they sold you.

And you can call them and they can pull the part number up that you bought. They do it for me and they can go back 7 years.

Unbolt the shocks and see if they're holding things down. You might need shock extensions or longer shocks if those are lift springs. I don't see how the quad shock option matters, there looks to be plenty of clearance around the spring.
