Multiple codes, possible UVCH?
hows it going everyone, got a 7.3 i picked up with what was suspected to have a blown trans, and runs poorly. I pulled some codes that i could off of it, and from the way its running, it idles horribly, then clears up for a few minutes, then will go back to running poorly under load, or idle. it seems like a UVCH issue i had once prior with another truck. codes are as follows
So what im looking for now, is how to test IDM voltage or resistance, and if that in conjunction with the cam sensor code, would cause this. And should i put the UVCH in it anyway first? being its cheap and not difficult to do, rather than pull the IDM. might as well swap cam sensor also.
i was under the assumption that if the IDM went bad the truck wont run..but im looking for suggestions.
P0500 - VSS in rear end
P1316- IDM code
P1247- Boost pressure low
P0340- cam sensor
P0470 - exhaust pressure sensor
P0741 - torque converter solenoid
P0720- output shaft speed sensor
