Minor upgrade.

New fuel system from Irate Diesel Performance complete with 5/8\" draw straw, pumpand filter assembly, and regulated return. Billet intake plenums, Motorcraft ZD11 glow plugs, and billet wheel for 38r from Riffraff, and TS chip with tunes from 1023 Diesel & Fleet. Injectors will be 180/80 single shots from Rosewood Diesel and are currently on their way. I'm looking forward to starting assembly and excited to see the results.

The plenums are the wrong ones! Send them to me and I will be sure to put them to good use.

Looks like you will have a completely different truck soon. Congrats on taking one heck of a plunge.

Those are some very nice goodies there. A couple things I would like to add as well.

A note to anyone interested in the same or similar.
you need to grind about 3/16" off the top rear ear on the intake plenums to clear the rear fuel line on the driver's side.

I remember ExPACamper had all sorts of problems with his billet plenums, but I don't remember him saying what you just did. He had a GPCM though, and had mounting issues with the GPCM for sure.

It must have hurt to grind down a bit of shiny new billet to make it fit.

It only sucked a little. It doesn't show so...

This is the fitting I needed clearance for.

Here is the front passenger side. Note the lower bolt only turns out a couple of turns and hits the front cover. I will get a Dremel in there and cut it off. The new plenum is notched to clear that area and doesn't use a bolt there.
I'll add a pic when it's installed, hopefully tomorrow.

Looking good. Just swapped my billet pleunems from my old engine to the new. They are thicker for sure but it’s nice not to have to worry about all that sealant. Also don’t have to worry about over tightening them.

I am glad to see that my valley isn’t the only one that’s all full of crud. That has been the longest time trying to get that all cleaned up.

I've been working so much that I've only been able to work on it 1/2 to 1 1/2 hours a day. Part of that time was figuring out where I left off with another large part spent looking for whatever I just had in my hand a minute ago.
The results were worth it. Here's a crappy video. I pulled in a diesel work truck class and had no trouble making a full pull.
