Thumbs up Catch can?

Since I have a weak No 8 and I assume this is contributing to my blowby, does anyone have a catch can to help vapor?

Figure I can flip that PCV/CCV guy, run a hose to the can then from can back to the air intake pipe. I know I will still consume oil, but maybe if I catch some I can just dump back in the motor.

What do you guys think? Waste of time and money?

It would work, but I'm not sure I'd bother. Do you have your ccv to the atmosphere now? If so you wouldn't haze the vehicle beside you so that would be a benefit.

Thumbs up

Nah, still to the intake. Not just haze is gross but the smell after a while.

if you do the catch can.....

Will the turbo body, fan, y pipe, plenums, block corrode/pit or worse will some rust chunks take out a ring or valve?

No, not,no,none.uh uh.

I have a catch can as I just don't want to do the vent to atmosphere. It does catch some oil. There are better setups out there. I would just route it back stock and forget about it.

Thats what I did, made my own catch can and routed back to the intake and worked great but was constantly having to drain it as my engine badly hurt. Will I do it again? Nah waste of time and no benefit that I could see, there was only a few droplets of oil in the IC when I removed it.
