Hi i Am new to posting. I have 2010 350 crewcab long bed, 200,003 miles daily driver also pull 30 ft gooseneck with large bales of hay truck is fully deleted . I was wondering what shocks are working best for your trucks ,the speaker said he used fox 2.5 I was wondering which ones thanks for the help .Keith
If yours is a multi-use truck (loaded, unloaded, towing, etc) then the adjustable 9000 rancho’s are a good choice as you can tune the ride and handling to the specific situation (e.g. level 3 for smooth highway ride unloaded and level 9 when loaded with a slide in camper).
for an f-350 blisteins or ranchos would probally be ok...or fox 2.0
im running fox 2.5 becuase my emtpy wieght on my f-450 is over 9500lbs and I have a dimaondback bed cover that can take a 1500lb load and I use it as a flat bed...plus my in bed tool box and road side supplies. my point on using fox 2.5 is if you want the very best solution is either the fox 2.5 with external bypass or the King shocks. I wanted king with internal by pass but did not want to wait 16 weeks for them. the fox 2.5 with external resivior and DSC adjusters cost me over 2K so not a in expensive way to go. blitiens/ranchos would be 1/5 of that cost and fox 2.0 probally 1/3 of that cost.
Ranchos have money back garuntee if you buy from an authorized Rancho reseller.....Amazon I dont think counts.
Yeah, those fox or king shocks are sure sweet! Rebuildable, adjustable, and exude quality. Ran their stuff on my dirtbikes back in the late 70’s and early 80’s before they shifted and focused on mountian bikes. Wish I had the budget for them. The ranchos are a good deal for the money but not in the same league as the other stuff. Best pricing on rancho’s I’ve found is through rockauto. I waited until rancho had their “buy 3 get one free” annual promotion which worked out to about $70 per shock.
Thanks for the response I have bilsten 5100 am think about the fox was a little surprised about the cost of the 2.5s the 2s are more affordable. I am sorry to see firefighter leaving have enjoyed reading his post. Again thanks this is a great forearm
