I'm selling one of my broncos right now, and it has an 80-86 bronco rear contour bumper. I'm looking at buying a 76 F150. If I decide to keep the contour bumper, will it fit on the 76 F150? I've seen some posts about these bumpers/brackets before, and I know someone modified bronco ones to fit their truck, but I can't remember who did it and if they used 80-86 parts. Anybody know?

 

I believe they are the same bumper with different brackets. If the rear frame width is the same on both vehicles you should be able to make it work.

I for one never knew 80-86 Bronco's even had the contour bumper option?

 

1980/86 F100/350 & Bronco use a different contour rear bumper than 1973/79 F100/150 2WD/4WD; 1973/79 F250 2WD; 1978/79 F250 4WD & 1978/79 Bronco, all of which have 37 1/2" rear frame rails.

The 1980/86 brackets are also different. The Bronco brackets are different than F100/350, as Bronco has a large stone shield between the body and the bumper.
