I'm just curious what bumpers will swap with my 76 F250, particularly the front but the rear also. Will similar year Bronco parts work, or just truck bumpers? Is anything from 73-77 good? I will be junkyard hunting this week, need to know what to look for. I've seen aftermarket bumpers in good shape, one in particular on a Bronco, but am unsure what will fit.
As far as the front a 73-77 truck no slit for license plate will work great. And the 78/79 truck/bronco slit bumper will fit but look at the top curved edge to grill shell clearance.
High boys have front bumpers that I believe have extra mount brackets. And YES on the older narrow frame width to look out for.
This is one off of a 93 or 95, I don't like the fit. It seems to be a little too narrow and the cut-outs on the top of the bumper that come close to the bottom rear bed corners do not match up that well.
