Tow mirror heat??
When the heat is on is there an indicator light on the mirror itself? Is there a separate switch for the heat on the mirrors?
I'm trying to finally wire up the heat on the '08 up mirrors I installed on my Late '99 F-350.....

No indicator like. If you are wiring them to a 99 then you will need a seperate switch. I used a rear window defroster switch from a older explorer in my 99. That way you have a lighted switch and it is on a 15 min timer.

Perfect!! I got a '97 Thunderbird rear window defroster switch for mine. It matches the window and lock switches perfectly, I will mount it in the dash where the 4x4 switch WOULD be....(Mine is 2wd)-I think it will look pretty factory that way.

The switch I had turned off automatically with either key turned off or approx 15 mins or so. A lot better then when I had it wired direct. Left them on one to many time. Drain both of those batteries down real quick. Ask me how I know.
