I replaced the cam sensor 2 times with brand new ones. I have to work the next couple days I will continue on this after I return home. Thanks for the help, it is appreciated. I am getting no codes on the scan gauge,

As I said - TEST the cam sensor, NOT just replace it for no reason.

Also stated, the scangauge does not report codes reliably. You need something better.

Are you sure your inertia switch isn't contributing to this issue.

Do yourself a favor and get a ELMS327 ODB reader. This is one I have.

Amazon Amazon

From there you can purchase TorquePro (Android only) or DashBoss (iOS and Android) download ForeScan Lite (iOS and Android) apps.

For less then $30 between the device and app(s) you have a way more powerful tool.

Ok I just bought the blue tooth version of the ELMS327 ODB2 reader that will work with my laptop. Bought it online so after I get it I will continue forward.

Ok finally gotten time off again. I did check the tests you said i need to check. The cam has zero output of any kind no voltage no hertz. So i puled the engine and was thinking of a total rebuild when i found that the cam position sensor was 1/8 inch from being installed completely. I removed it and found that the engine block was never machined on the inlet for the cam position sensor and the extremely rigid and sharp edges are keeping the sensor from going in when it reaches the o ring. My new question is, is this 1/8 inch gap enough to cause all my troubles?
