No Start
So I pulled my 2005 F350 King Ranch 6.0 in January, Cam was shot along with the lifters, total rebuild , .20 overy pistons, rods, reconditioned heads, stage 1 cam, hd lifters, new valve train components, pushrods. Reassembled very carefully, got it back in the truck Sunday, I have a No Start, engine seems like no compression, KOEO ;Ficm 48.5v, ICP .2v, IPR 14.7, .
KOECRANKING ; Ficm 48.0v, ICP 1.6v, IPR 81%-38%, something around 64%, rpm 186,Ficm sync 1.0, Cam vs Crank Sync 1.0, HPOP 1500+, fuel pulse width 1200+. This is driving me crazy, this is the first engine in over 35 years that has never started for me.....thanks anyone .... Dave

Yep, builds over 1500 while cranking, but drops very fast when I stop, not sure how fast it's supposed to, I know it doesn't hold it indefinitely, it's not supposed to do that, I had a problem with a standpipe O ring, replaced it, not sure if that would be it, since it's building good HPOP.

Glow plugs/GPR? I'm treating this simplistically as a cold start problem.
I think you must have some compression in the engine since your RPM when trying to start is 186. And from what I have learned, that should be enough. And it would likely be somewhat higher if you had no compression.
The other numbers look OK to me, but I will think on this and maybe contribute more.

Ok so I was able to download ForScan, performed an injector test, all is good on fact did all Pids, and everything came out good, a friend said he seen greyish, smoke from the exhaust and smells fuel, still no start...... Dave

Does it "try" to start (as in sputter but not catch)? I agree all numbers indicate a 6.0L that should start and run, by what you've posted thus far. If you loosen off the cold side CAC tube at the intake elbow, spray a bit of Brake Parts cleaner and try to fire it up and see what happens.

So I I've been trying everything ,even chaneed the Standpipes and dummy plugs again, found couple of nicks in the O rings, pressure doesn't drop as fast now, still No Start, haven't sprayed anything in the intake, don't really want to do that. Anybody come across this problem, ever ????? thanks Dave
