Key Fob

I have found my extra key fob and key for the truck that i totalled and no longer have. Is this fob still useful on the new 2018 that i just picked up???????......if not can some one else use it???????? or should i just chuck it????

LOL if i decide to get rid of it youll be first........but no questions have been answered......but i will guess by your response that any one can use it ???????.......and i am aware of what the new ones cost so maybe some honest answers could help ones standing!

There are people who can put a new blade in it and then you can cut it for your new truck

As long as the part numbers are the same you can replace the blade, have it cut and program it to your 2018 flip key fob.

i bought blades from eBay. Replaced the blade on a spare 2016 F150XLT I traded in. Had it cut at the ford dealer and programmed it to my 2017 F350 Lariat.
