from videos I've seen. Changing the exhaust dpf
back does not really make our diesels any louder do they? A full delete is the way to go and I don't want to do that.

Absolutely no sound nor performance changes by DPF back exhausts. That being said, I added one, but it was strictly for looks.
All - there seem to be a few of these out there, which one would be the one to go with? Sinister Diesel, Edge, MagnaFlow, Banks Monster Exhaust and a host of other make them. I’m leaning towards the Banks Monster Exhaust but wanted everyone’s opinions. The main reason is that my exhaust tips must have at some point before I bought the truck had something spilled on them which ate away the chrome in spots. If I pick up another horse or 2 so be it, looking for more of a better look than anything else. Speaking of the look, Chrome or black tips? The truck is that tri-color white. Leaning black.
I'm looking at the Banks. Very expensive but I like it because it has an exhaust exit before the tips like the stock exhaust does. Unfortunately it says "not for trucks with a 5th wheel hitch". Which I don't understand why. I crawled under the truck, there seems to be plenty (well maybe not plenty) of room between the factory bend and the mounting bracket for the 5th wheel hitch. The bracket steals less than 2" of space. I did send them an e-mail, will probably call on Monday.
That Magnaflow exhaust looks sweet, definitely one of the best I've seen. I too am struggling with spending money on an exhaust for no performance or sound gains. I'm stuck in the delete or not...based on warranty coverage alone.
