I'm going to yank my cluster and put some brighter LED bulbs in place of the originals. Does my cluster (1991) use the common 168/194 type bulb, and will they work without having to modify the cluster?
Does anyone happen to know how many bulbs are in the cluster itself? I know for sure there are two turn signal, one check engine, one battery warning and one abs but beyond that I have no idea, trying to get decent pricing per bulb and don't want to order more than i need.

Looking at pics I've seen online it looks like there are 17
Holy ****. Is that including the ones i mentioned (turn signals, check engine, etc)?
EDIT: Corrected the the image
That includes every bulb. This pic is of a tach cluster, but I believe the ones with a without a tach have the same amount, just with different placements. Each one of those black turn ***** is where a bulb should be.
The cluster in that picture doesn't have an input for a speedometer cable. The OP asked about a '91, which still used a mechanical speedometer. His cluster will probably be similar, but may be slightly different.

Thanks for catching that, it looks like I must have accidentally uploaded a pic for a 92-97, instead of the 87-91. I'll edit that post right now
