So I have a DIY pre and post pump filter mod on my truck, the post pump filter will not stop leaking. It’s kind of of hard to tell if it is coming from the plugs in the filter base or the seal on the filter. There are some pics before I installed it on the truck so you can get a visual. I used Permatex Aviation sealant on all the threads. My fuel pressure is a constant 70psi. Is that maybe too much for the filter seal to handle?
I'd also recommend fuel injector clamps over worm clamps and double clamp them 180* from each other at each fitting. Also make sure the right sized hose was used. Size is different from the tank to the filter than from the filter to the pump.

Those are fuel injection clamps. Not the standard hose clamps. No leaks at all on the pre pump filter, just on the filter base of the post pump filter. I used the same size hose for everything too. I’ll look into the sealant you mentioned
I had the same issue with a filter head leaking on my veg oil setup. Turned out one of the plugs was defective. Try replacing the plug in the offending port.

i has previously replaced both plugs and re sealed them. I used Gates brand this time. They seem to be holding but with the locating of the filters it’s hard to get a good eye on it. I may try replacing the filter and if that doesn’t work idk what to do...
Bump.. Anybody out there that had this similar problem? Its a Baldwin BF7633 filter and i'm getting constant 70psi fuel pressure. Replaced the filter once already, same issue after a 100miles. It seems to be coming from the mounting surface of the base and not any of the plugs.
Just to clarify, you think it's leaking from the fuel filter o-ring/gasket, not the hose barbs?
Have you checked the mating surface for a scratch/gouge? Removed the filter o-ring, dunked in oil, put the oring back in place? Given it an extra 1/4 turn?
You said you used the same sized hose for everything, the pump needs 5/16" hose, vs the tank's 3/8" Did you apply sealant to the hose barbs before sliding the hoses on?

I’ll pull the filter off and check the surface. There are no leaks from any barb connections. I literally could not find a single forum with this issue so that tells me it’s really uncommon.. lucky me.
I had one where the center nipple came loose and the filter wouldn't stay tight.
i tightened down the center nipple while it had it all apart yesterday, something I haven’t done yet. Oiled the filter seal, used Permatex high temp thread sealant and tightened everything back up. If it still leaks after this I’m removing the filter lol.
