Not to hijack a thread but if you wanted to get really crafty you could cut this wire and utilize a relay such as SpringerPop did on his Super Duty disabler system. You could have a separate part of your keychain with a magnet that could disable/enable it. A friend of mine almost had his truck stolen and he had a kill switch installed. The thieves had flicked any switch they could find in an attempt to get the system bypassed.
