My neutral safety switch on my 73 F100 was pinned into the neutral position by a previous owner, was wondering what the name of the part is that goes in the steering column and actuates the nss and where to find one. Thanks!
Mine came from Carpenter. Was a perfect replacement but was wicked hard to install. Do it on a day when you have time and patience galore! Would have been much easier with the column out of the truck. Make sure the remains of the original arn't stuck on the shaft, you will never get the new one on that way. Also, poke around for the correct way to set the switch or you will have reverse lights in park and a no start condition.
