B/U lights...wheres the switch?
There is a pin NSS SELECTOR LEVER that sticks out and moves the switch when you move the shift lever. This is also your neutral safety switch. When I got this truck the pin was missing and I just removed the switch and put a toggle on the dash for back-up lights when I need them. They work great if you need to see something even if your not backing up. My neutral safety switch is also bypassed because the switch went bad and I usually start my truck in park like normal people.
Fits: 1965/77 F100/350.
This lever is Y shaped, snaps to the shift tube thru a hole in the mast jacket.
One of two things happens to it: It's spring steel, so when it loses tensile strength, it falls off, or...
More common, the tip snaps off.
Ford just obsoleted this part, however...
MCSPADDEN FORD in Globe AZ has ONE.
BRADLEY FORD in Lake Havasu AZ has ONE.
DON SANDERSON FORD in Glendale AZ has TWO = 623-842-8762.
PARTS INTERNATIONAL in Farmers Branch TX has 18 = 888-727-0418
GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 12 = 800-543-4959.
There's at least 150 more at other Ford dealers and other obsolete parts vendors.
