clearing codes
hey all,
long time that i have been on this site..
i have a new to me 04' f250 w/ 6.0 ..live in california so sucks that now i have toi smog it have engine codes replaced all the senors using innova 3100 abs to give me the codes/info..
how long does it take for the main obd or computer to reset itself of the check engine light...
had IAT sensor, & EGR valve sensor.. easy enough to fix...

Fast way is to clear them with your 3100. If that fails, pull the batt cables (grounds) from both batteries. Count to 10 and reinstall. If you still have that code, you didn't fix it.

well looks like a short in wire or something replaced every friggin sensor,egr, oil change, air filter, MAF Sensor.etc even took off negative cables for 10-20 seconds....nada so guess ill have to take it somewhere to check for the bad wire still have code P0113
