1977 F100 AM radio wiring





Included with my truck was an AM radio (disconnected) C-D4TA-18806 With AA stamped in ink

see picture and please let me know what each wire does

also someone put a new in dash speaker in (has positive and negative wires ready to go... any different than stock?

Blue with tracer is for the light.

Plug wires are most likely for the speaker.

Black A+ is most likely power.

For two wires that go to speaker, does polarity matter?

Yes, it's also important that both speakers are wired correctly or they will be "out of phase" - canceling each other out to some degree. Both speakers Pos to pos and neg to neg.

Well, no and yes. It doesn't matter which way they're wired as long as they're the same as each other. So if it's a mono (not stereo) it doesn't matter at all.
