I seem to be seeing a lot of opinion without real data to back it up these days. We should be open to learning and experience is the best teacher. What's best for one engine isn't neccessarily best for another application.
I personally find a port matched Performer good off idle to 5,500rpm in my engine. No trouble running out of traction. No esperience with the others but they tend to get bad reviews here.
This is a forum. Forums are for the discussion of ideas. He says I'm wrong. if you don't want to hear why, then don't read it. Dude !
The OP's question was answered... I think. If you want to have a debate on your cfm of carbs and intakes, start your own thread maybe? There's a time and place for everything.
EDIT: I for one was interested to see if anyone had done further flow/bench testing on the Edelbrock vs. Weiand.... or maybe had some new dyno numbers on a different motor. But I guess this thread is over cause we already have a viable answer which Tim posted up elsewhere.

Like I said, this is an open forum. Who made you the moderator ? It's not up to you to decide who posts or what's posted.
just some of the threads I found when I typed "intake" into the search bar.
With that out of the way, I prefer the new China made Weiand. Its smoother and more rounded in the runners during transitions and has shown to produce a bit moretop end power than the Edelbrock performer. The Performer has more squared off runners and more drastic squared off transitions from plenum to runners. It also has smaller runners and produces a bit more low end torque. Either will work, so go with what's cheapest. The SP2P is a great manifold for a stock engine that's looking for some low end boost, but it will reduce top end drasticly above 4000rpm, many don't consider it do too the extremely small runners. On a modified engine you have pretty much one of two choices, Weiand or Edelbrock, both are good. The above threads will shed some more light on the issue.
