my shop didn’t want to do the adjustable bushing either. They are time consuming. You install them, measure, take them out, adjust and so forth. I got the ones on here recommend and it has been night and day. From what I have seen here on this forum is do whatever to get the caster in the middle of the spec. 2-3 range and you will be good. Mine pulls slightly to the right on right crown and slightly left on left crown. When I say slightly I mean I can release the wheel and it not leave the lane for a couple hundred yards. I also have Toyo MT that are know to pull right.

Threads like this make me not want to put my 1.5” level on. Being lazy doesn’t help get them installed either.

So, reputable shop just installed my Carli Back Country system on a 2019 F450. System came from CJC Offroad. Drives great. Only problem I have is that the top of the spring has a slight noticable bow, back towards the cab. Called CJC and sent some pictures and they said everything was fine. Shop said if I wanted to have the spring straight (as in your picture) I needed a adjustable radius arm to rotate the axle. Talked to CJC again and they said I did not need a radius arm. (Carli Radius Arm adds 1 degree) The F250 at work that has the same Carli System has coil spring straight as in your picture. So my wuestion is that since the Carli system comes with a 2 degree caster, would getting adjustable caster adjustment out to 3 degrees solve my issue.

When you do a front 2.5" lift the front axle will move backwards about 1/2". You can use a radius arm drop to level the radius arm and push the axle back forward or you can get an adjustable radius arm or link kit to dial it in the way you like. You're probably fine where you are but if it bothers you those are ways to address it.

I have yet to find a adjustable radius arm or a radius arm drop until you get north of 2.5" lift.. Carli's radius arm for a 2.5" lift adds 1 degree of caster over stock. So since I have a 2 degree caster shim from Carli for this application I assume you take your 2 degree caster shim out from Carli and replace with stock 1 degree caster shim that was on vehicle and add Carli Radius Arm and then your in the same boat ? Or if you add the Carli Radius Arm that states it adds 1 degree and leave the 2 degree shim in does that take the slight bow of spring out ? Seems from some other posts that there is caster adjutable shims above 2 degrees that should resolve coil spring bow.. Everyone seems to be on agreement that radius arm adjustment that rotates axle is better than caster shims. But if there is not a adjustable radius arm on the market for 2.5" lift, is it worth the dollars to get all you can from the Carli non adjustable radius arms that only adds 1 degree and then start with caster shims. Really disappointed to have a truck with noticable bowed coil springs.

I have PMF adjustable arms and no lift. The caster increase in the least adjusted position was .25 degrees.
