Try brazing it up, or solder. Worse comes to worst you could just buy a new booster cluster. They are sized specific to a given carb or application though, have to buy the right one.
Yes, but they are sort of cryptic. Look for letter/numbers on the bottom. "4W" or whatever. The ford truck shop manual will list what is spec'd for that engine.
Let's back up a second though. Is that the original carburetor in the first place? After several years, decades, anybody could have put any carburetor on that engine by now. Does the carb still have the small aluminum tag attached to it? It's a 2100 sure, but Ford offered 5 or 6 different venturi sizes depending on engine size and lots of different discharge clusters depending on application, gearing, transmission etc. If you're not too picky just about anything will bolt on and run.
I'd braze it up and call it good. Make sure everything is clean, use a good solvent and soak it, blow it all out with shop air, so all the high speed and idle air passages and orifices are clear. Don't go sticking wires and things in, just clean everything thoroughly. They are great carburetors. Ensure that the right size jets are installed, accelerator pump check ball and weight is installed, use new parts and set it up according to the manual etc.
Yes I do have the tag and I do believe it's the original carb being as I'm the third owner with only 73000 original miles. 360 three on the tree 4x2 long bed. Been sitting for several years. Pulled the carb soaked it for a couple days and when pulled it out of the pan to start assembly this is what I found. It even tried to start when I went to look at it but I knew I didn't want to run it after setting so long.
