So long story short, one day i was on my way home from work and ran low on fuel. I stopped and got fuel and drove home (about 6 miles) and everything was running fine. The next morning I went to go to work and cranked up the baby and she was not ideling right. Drive to work and parked and on the way home stopped to get it scanned and it says “cylinder 6 injector high circuit”. So now here it sits with nowhere to go and getting sad because i don’t want to drive it like that. So here are the symptoms:
Rough Idle
Skips at different throttle speeds
Lost some power
Someone please help Suzy get back on the road
2004 Ford F-250 SuperDuty 6.0
I have check connections and they are good. I don’t know if i blew an injector or if the FICM went bad (i hope not). Anyone else has ever had this issue or have insite on it?

You can ohm out the offending injector to determine if the injector coil went bad. If it tests out good, then there is an issue with at least the logic board side of the FICM.
If you've got a buddy with a 6.0, you can also take your FICM and install it in that truck to see if the issue moves with the FICM.
With it running, push up on the wires under the FICM. Circuit high refers to an open circuit.
Is it possible to reach those wires with it still attached or would i have to just take the mounting bolts off? I don’t know if that makes aground for it with it attached or not.
