Keyless entry programming

My new to me 99 E350 15 passenger van with power door locks didn't come with a key fob so I purchased one online .
Im trying to find the 2 prong wire under the driver side dash so I can bridge the wires and set it up for programming but for the life of me I cannot find the wires.
Ive read and read thru multiple posts on this and other forums but just cant locate the wire.
Does anybody have an actual photo of the wire and where its located ?

Thanx

On my van, it is just a matter of cycling the ignition so many times and then hit one of the remote buttons.

Yeah I tried that route as well .
The remote seller specified I needed to find that wire and bridge it to set it in scan mode.

thats odd. I’ve never heard of that. Can you post a pic of the instructions?

I feel pretty strongly that the other guy was right. Do you have an owners manual?
Every Ford I’ve owned allows the owner to program a remote as described above.

yes you need to bridge that connector 98 conv. van

its underneath the steering column .next to impossible to see or find. I'll see how mine is marked and post that asap. I've got a 1998 e150
van and it was impossible to program, without jumping the pins.

Talking Black plug with 2 wires 1998 E150 conversion van

on my 1998 e150, my notes show its a black plug with 2 wires. one wire is white with yellow stripe and 2nd wire is black . its a plug underneath the steering column.

1. I jumped the plug internal pins with a very small piece of wire. ( I think it locks then unlocks)
2. Then turn on ignition key to run
3. Press any keyfob button to program
4.Then ignition key to OFF
5 Remove Pin Jumper(WIRE) from black plug connector
