I'm going to install new window sweeps onto the door panels. Gary once told me he used rivets buy couldn't at the time remember the size. Could that be 1/8" plus a washer? Any chance these could be glued nowadays?

Beltline weatherstrips aka anti rattlers aka cat whiskers. The genuine Ford weatherstrips had their clips installed on the weatherstrips. Don't know if the repro weatherstrips do.
The repo exterior window sweeps (anti-rattle)ones have clips that clip to the metal door frame. Interior ones were stapled to the plastic door panels. I ordered interior ones from LMC and they do not have any fasteners, being meant to be stapled. My doors are 1992 and the interior door panels are 1980. Rivets look like the way to go so the smallest ones with a washer will likely do.

I made my own replacement staples, since none of us obviously have the big industrial stapler originally used.
Use the old strips as a template, and drill new holes to match in the new ones. For the staples, cut some steel wire in 2" pieces. I think I used .032" stainless. I have a pair of needlenose pliers that matched the width of the staple crown. Make a 90 degree bend on each side and you've got a reasonable facsimile of an OEM staple. Feed said staple through the holes, snip the tails, and bend them over.
It helps to loosely install all of the staples first before cinching any of them down.
