I tried it for 30 days once. I normally get right around 17 mpg on the average. The month I tried it I average 13.8 mpg. However YMMV !

On mine its part of the tow / haul button. Press it once for Towing, press it a second time for Sport. Mine has the center console shifter and its on the side of that.

It’s on the column shifter for those of us with the front bench seat.

Don’t forget...if you really want to convert your tires to smoke, do a quick double-tap on the traction control button to go into AdvanceTrac Sport Mode. Removes most/all the traction control nannies.

Careful Onug, one must be experienced in sport mode before doing the double tap. The double tap may be to much for the inexperienced driver.

Or those of us that have the center console with the column shifter. Best of both worlds if you ask me.

Because i am basically lazy, I will use Tow/haul when climbing the mountain (part of my commute). I like that it generally keeps the transmission in about 1 lower gear. I don't particularly like the aggressive downshifting on the downhill side, so I usually just leave it in drive on the downhill, and lock out the upper gears as I see fit. I will put it in sport mode when getting on the freeway on-ramp and I want to blend as quickly as possible. Otherwise, I will leave it in "D". If I'm bored, I will use "M" and shift with my thumb.
