I have a 89 f350 7.5l 4wd 5 speed. I have been having a issue for awhile now. It radomly just shuts off. But when it does I can turn the key off then it starts right back up. If I do not turn the key off it won't start. It was at a mechanic shop for 2 weeks. Thought it was the ignition module on distributor and replaced, no difference, further testing he says it's the computer. Put new one in and it is still doing it. I'm at a lost. Mechanic said it's losing ignition signal. I have read on here alot of issues with the distributor. Either the pip sensor or bushing worn and shorting out. Anybody have any input. I'm running out of money and patience
