Got a brochure in the mail that I had requested a number of weeks ago. No PCO though. The scarcity is real.

Yep, I've been trying every day -- opening incognito windows, going to car shopping websites, clicking on banner ads, clicking on ford.com, clicking around on dealer websites, and.... nothing.

I wonder if Ford is about to release new incentive offers for vehicles like GM and Ram. I'd imagine they would limit the PCO offerings if they offer other incentives. I do see a lot of advertising on FB for Labor Day sales.

Have PCOs traditionally become scarce towards a year end or model year change over?

The last couple of months I've been looking at Super Duty trucks on dealer websites and built a couple on the Ford shopping planner page and saved them. I also searched the available dealer inventory on the Ford site shopping planner quite a lot the last couple of months, there are trucks out there either just arriving or on their way that are not at the lot yet and don't show on the dealers website. Last weekend the Ford site shopping planner search showed me one at a nearby dealer and I was interested in looking at it. So, I clicked the button to contact the dealer and almost instantly got a $1,500 PCO in my e-mail, which I did end up using this weekend. Might give that a try if you are hoping for a PCO soon.

Thanks Captain, was this a Ford PCO, or from the dealer? This could be similar to what others have reported before about going to a dealer website. Even if you plan to buy elsewhere, it would be worth the annoyance of a dealer calling.....

What dealership did you click on before you got the popup? This was the "Dealer Website" button in the search page?

Had you already filled out the inquiry popup there also, like this?

I clicked the Get an Internet Price and filled out the information. The dealer was Dick's Mackenzie Ford in Hillsboro, OR.

I know that zip code shown in that the lower photo...grew up in that little town...many years ago.

OK, this seems to be the way Ford is controlling access to PCOs at the moment. They want to make sure you contact a dealer first.

What is the expiration date on your $1500 PCO?

I spent many summers there on the family tree farm when I was growing up, and still go down every few weekends to do chores.

The expiration is September 30th, about 5 weeks from when it was issued.

I still go every couple of weeks to see the folks.

How do I request a brochure from Ford.com? When I go to the "Brochures" page, it has download links but I could not find a place to request a printed brochure in the mail. Or is it possible they have run out of 2020, and will start sending out 2021 brochures in the near future?

I never found a way on the website. But you can call Ford Marketing at 1-800-334-4375. I did that, and they said they had some left, but it has been 3 months and I haven't received my brochure yet!
