Glow plug wiring harness

Well today I went out to start my truck and it took like 3 trys to start.... I already replaced gpc and the relay and all 8 motor craft beru so I feel like something might be wrong with the harness the wts light still comes on but not as long as they used to... tells me I already have a couple bad glow plugs some how... only had this set in for about 9 10 months so I thought that maybe some of the plugs maybe not getting enough power. The bullet connectors are destroyed so imma replace those and

Wanting to know what are those wires going on to that siliond that sticks into the engine?? Those wires are connected to the passenger side glow plugs and so are the wiires that go to the IP all of them run on the gp harness wantig to know if thats correct

That is the coolant sensor switch. It shouldn't impact the issue you mentioned. It controls the cold idle advance on the IP. Basically, it's just a switch that closes a circuit once the engine gets up over 160 deg or something like that.

your starting problem likely isn't glowplug related. Can you describe exactly what is going on? cranking? how long? voltage, etc?

Well all I know is that if it' plugged in its starts right up.... without it plugged in the wait to light start staying on for like 5 to 7 seconds in 30 40 degree weather... when I remember when I stuck the new GPS in the wts stayed on about double that time that' why I'm leaning that I might have 1 or 2 bad glow plugs and they only been used less then a year so I thought something may be something about my gp harness because some of the bullet connectors are broke so imma buy new connecters https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwi3-c_q8tnaAhVZucAKHchoBV4YABAJGgJpbQ&ohost=www.google .com&cid=CAASE-RotsovzXUzEot2flKNdFviZ_Y&sig=AOD64_15OuD6WqolS85W m8uAVQaLKTtkvw&ctype=5&q=&ved=0ahUKEwjD2cvq8tnaAhX K5IMKHQNPA5kQwg8IIA&adurl=

this is the link to the bullet connectors imma get I'll draw up a diagram how my truck is wired Cuz PO effed with it all.

I copied the link you posted in Google, and does not show any bullet connectors.

Why don`t you post the year/engine you have?

Edit: Ok now it has a redirect link to this.

So you paid $29 plus for some wires with crimped on connectors. So you must have a 7.3 engine with the ZD-9 plugs?

Read through this thread about using the 6.0 GP harness.
