Turbo Cool Down Timer Recommendations?

I like the delay on shutdown feature of a lot of these units. What I went with instead is a Pre-Luber. It is an electric pump that starts running when you turn on your ignition and pressurizes the oil system. So you have oil pressure before you even turn over your motor. No wear on startup! And when you shut the truck down you can program the pump to run for a set time to bring down engine/turbo temps by circulating the oil. So if you are a little hot on shutdown you don't worry because oil will circulate for as long as you have the preluber set for.
I think that the pre-lube after lube idea is a much better idea than the after run idea, accomplishing much the same thing, without the waste of fuel, and still giving you the pump up in the morning for a no dry start.. From what I can see, the biggest problem is cooling the turbo bearings after a hard run, and of course spool down(is that a "new" term?)
Anyway, where did you find this unit, and how much did you research it, prior to purchase? I'd like to piggy-back your work as long as you researched it well. Also does the unit use filtered oil, or unfiltered? This should not be a problem for me either way, as I am using a bypass oil filter system. Oil should be spotless even in the crankcase. and of course synthetics. Yeah I baby my truck, but what the heck....... My wife says it is my first wife and she is second wife. Just trying to live up to the reputation!
By the way, you are correct. Valet mode is a standard feature on the 03 model with the factory alarm system. You press the little LED indicator/button once to turn on, then again to turn off.
