Help Identify this noise please
Got a weird noise coming from the passenger valve cover area on my engine. Any help is appreciated.

Check valve chatter on A.I.R. system?

Localize with stethoscope or screwdriver-to-ear on valve cover to eliminate valve train.

Went and bought a stethoscope. Noise is either the PCV valve, or coming directly underneath it. Sounds a lot like a pepper grinder with bb's instead of pepper.

I had something similar going on, turns out the PCV valve was chattering. Put a Motorcraft in it and it shut up. Make sure the vacuum line for it isn't collapsed also.
