Having problems with 2016 Explorer, the front collision alarm going off in bad weather. When driving in freezing rain or snow, we get intermittent annoying alarms despite having cleared off the snow and ice repeatedly from the front bumper sensors. It thinks we are about to hit someone.

Anyone else experienced this and can the system be turned off temporarily when driving in winter weather?
