Installed daystar 2/2.5 level kit
its a 2/2.5 becusse it has steps on it for either 2 or 2.5. I used the 2.0
i leveled it only becusse I have fox 2.5 and the shortest is for a 2.0” leveled truck.
So so now the shocks center closer to the middle instead at 3/4 compression.
i feel like now I have to do something with the back becusse as soon as I drop 4000lbs in the truck bed, truck won’t be level anymore. We will see how that goes.
and yes, alignment check needed so that’s on my list.
shocks had to be deflated to do this....but I have a nitrogen tanks with the right hoses so that was not a problem.
now I don’t gave to worry about bottoming out.
took about 4 hrs. I used three 2 Ron jacks to lift the front off the ground.
spring compressors were not needed to remove old spring spacer but they were needed to install the new one.
brake line brackets and abs sensor wire brackets had to temporarily be removed.
didnt disconnect the sway bar since mine pivot if both end s go in the same direction so disconnect not needed.
I bought the daystar becusse it was polypropylene and gives a little like a body mount bushing.
not hard but not eAsy. Time for a beer.
