I figured that Ford or the aftermarket would expand on options for the Box Link locations. Things like tie down tracks, bike racks, fuel can racks, etc. I don't use the tie downs much. I had no issues installing mine. I might getting them out since I probably put the key someplace I forgot. I can't imagine why they have locks on them in the first place, I doubt anyone would steal them, but you never know. I see them cheap on Craigslist all the time, new in the box.

I think the original goal was to get a lot of after-market attachments, but I guess it never really caught on. I keep the key attached to the back loop on the fob. Otherwise, where the heck would you keep it?!? Oh, I suppose you could keep it in the little fob-shaped cubby in the console, but oh well...
