I took a quick scan of the posts on the main 2004/2005 F150 page here. Out of the 35 threads displayed, a whopping 11 had something about a problem or complaint right in the title. That turns out to be something like 32% ! I'm not asking for or starting trouble here by pointing this out...but maybe you guys that have complaints or problems can understand how others would get a little frustrated with the constant complaints and griping. It's one thing to say, hey...I've got a problem, check this out, can someone help? But it's quite another when over and over and over, the same issues and complaints are brought up...as if it's a totally new subject. Maybe it's just a lack of posting discipline or something, I don't know. But on another site I looked at, I counted 3 out of the 24 displayed threads with complaints in the title. And that's high for the site in question.
My point is, please DO post about your concerns, problems, complaints...but how come people can't use an existing thread that already covers the subject in question? Rather than starting thread after thread of the same complaint. It doesn't stop there. Some people start their own thread and then go to similar threads with the 'yeah, me too - ford and my truck sucks' line of statements. Man that gets old. I'd be complaining if I had problems, don't get me wrong. But please, know when to say when...lol
Well if everyone bought their new truck the same day, read this web site everyday to keep up with what's being said then I could see your point. New people dropping in that don't know how to use the search or don't have the time to read through a thread with 7-8 pages of people arguing about vibration problem are the reasons this happen's.. This happen's on all forums for the reason's stated. I've been answering boat questions for people on several forums for the last 6-7yrs. I'll bet I've answered some of same questions 500 times for different people.
The next part of the problem is when a thread get's that long the regulars have tendency not to bother with it. People know this and know a fresh thread will get more attention. It's just the way the cookie crumbles..
I just can't figure out why it happens here more than other sites. My guess would be because this site shows up first when you do a Google search for Ford Trucks...so people land here and sign up...and the rest is history.

Are you ever going to stop crying about non sence?? If you don't like this room, get out, no big deal!!!
The problem is there are few questionable users who actively feed the flames, and their motivation (employment source!) is suspect. We're not going to allow the trolls like that to stick around any longer.
The real problem is that Ford builds a great truck and people expect perfection so when one little thing goes wrong they're devestated. Fact is, there's nothing out there that comes close so quit complaining! Of course there's a few folks out there that would complain about anything. You have to learn to ignore them.

Well, I guess that leaves 68 % of us that are happy with there trucks!!! In my book thats pretty good.!!

Who's crying? Didn't think I sounded like I was crying...just making an observation...lol...geez I'm just glad I got mine before all the vibe this and vibe that got out of control on the forums...or I would've missed out on a truck I'm totally satisfied with. I would likely (maybe...out of fear) have ended up with a Chevy Silverado since I get GM employee pricing. Trust me, it was not in my best interest financially to buy a Ford. But, I'm glad I did. I have no brand loyalty at all. I buy what I want/like. I was forced (by my wife) to wait about 6 months before I could buy this, so I ended up doing lots of research and comparisons. The new F150 in my book beat out all the others in 2 main areas. The core of the truck (frame, suspension, new engine) was simply built better and it LOOKS much better.
Next time around though...it's turbo diesel time for me. Probably will go for the 250.
